Dr. Sara Hamidi graduated with honours from Carson Graham Secondary in 1990 and continued with her post-secondary education at the University of British Columbia where she obtained her Bachelor degree in Mathematics and Master’s degree in the Department of Oral Biological and Medical Sciences.  Sara then pursued and completed her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree at the University of British Columbia in 2001.

Sara practiced dentistry as an associate in Surrey and North Vancouver from 2001-2006, and then in downtown Vancouver from 2006 to 2017. She is now the proud co-owner of the 123 Kerrisdale Dental Centre and strives to provide her patients with a high quality dental care in all aspects of dentistry, including cosmetic dentistry, implant supported dental prosthetics, wisdom teeth extractions, root canal treatment and Invisalign. She thoroughly enjoys her chosen profession and is committed to the advancement of her knowledge and skills in order to help her patients.  Sara has been involved in a number of study clubs and has accumulated many continuing dental education hours in different aspects of dentistry. Sara has also been a clinical instructor at the Faculty of Dentistry at UBC since 2007.

Sara is an avid hockey and dance mom. She volunteers and coaches sports at her kids’ schools and enjoys spending time with her husband and their two teenage children. During her free time, Sara participates in Crossfit training and likes a variety of other sports including volleyball and running. She also enjoys travelling and socializing with her friends.

Dr. Gill has done much to assist in educating the public about dentistry, from being a featured guest on numerous radio and television talk shows to creating and hosting The Dental Show, a radio call-in program in Vancouver. He has been and continues to be an adviser, clinical tester and consultant for selected dental laboratories and dental materials companies. He is a technical adviser for dental office software.

Dr. Gill has been performing difficult cosmetic and surgical cases since 1996, combining his expertise in orthodontics, restorative & cosmetic dentistry and implantology to create natural smiles. Dr. Gill has worked with 11 different Vancouver and Lower Mainland dental offices last year, performing extractions as well as placing implants, bone grafting and assisting dentists in learning about new implant and restoration techniques.

Dr. Gill has been working with implants since 1993 and has taken many lectures and hands-on courses on implants, surgery and bone grafting, travelling to the US and to Germany to study with Dr. Paul Weigl at the University of Frankfurt School of Dentistry.

Dr. Jason Gomes is a Doctor of Dental Surgery, and was raised throughout Canada, from South Delta, BC, to Saskatoon, SK, and Ottawa, ON. He graduated from the University of Toronto, where he developed a passion for delivering exceptional care and crafting unparalleled patient experiences.

Choosing a community in Vancouver was a deliberate move for Dr. Gomes, as it not only resonates with him but also allows him to support his wife, who is embarking on her DMD journey at UBC’s Faculty of Dentistry.

At the core of Dr. Gomes’s practice is his commitment to quality care, embracing cutting-edge technology, and fostering deep connections with his patients. His healthcare philosophy embodies education, disease prevention, and minimally invasive treatments aimed at restoring dental function, comfort, and aesthetics while ensuring longevity.

To Dr. Gomes, dentistry represents a harmonious blend of art and science, offering an ideal work-life balance that allows him to relish moments with his family—a cherished ensemble that includes his wife, kids, and a delightful Labradoodle named Sulley.

Outside the office, Dr. Gomes enjoys reading non-fiction books, golfing, playing chess, and pursuing the lifelong journey of learning.

Meet Dr Muhammad Ali! Raised in Ontario, Dr. Ali obtained his Bachelor of Health Sciences from McMaster University in Hamilton and completed his dental education from the University of Toronto. With a commitment to continuous growth and patient-centered care, Dr. Ali pursued additional training through a one-year general residency program at the Jacobi Medical Center in New York City where he treated a medically-complex and underserved patient population.

Upon completing his residency, Dr. Ali embarked on a new adventure. He chose to embrace the serene beauty and captivating nature of British Columbia by relocating to Vancouver. Dr. Ali’s passion for adventure extends beyond his professional life. He’s an avid hiker, dedicated gym-goer, and a passionate traveler who loves exploring the world’s diverse cultures. An equally ardent live arts enthusiast, you may find him at local theatres, comedy and improv clubs, or raving about his favourite Broadway show from his time in New York!

Fluent in Urdu, Hindi and Punjabi – with Dr. Ali, you’ll find a dentist who listens to his patient’s needs and strives to provide the highest quality, well-informed and comfortable dental treatment.

Michele’s primary focus is to create a positive environment for all staff and patients. Her favorite part of being an Office Manager is being able to meet and interact with people every day. She believes that everyone deserves a beautiful smile.
In her spare time, Michele enjoys reading, binge-watching true crime documentaries, and paddleboarding. Michele was raised in Alberta before relocating to Vancouver in June 2022. She moved so she could experience life by the coast. Michele is engaged to her childhood love and has two adult daughters and one special son-in-law. In addition, she is also the mother of an adorable goldendoodle called Bentley. Michele is also passionate about travelling.

When considering a workplace, Michele prioritized having a supportive and welcoming atmosphere. She feels very fortunate to be able to live in Vancouver and have a job she loves and cares about.

Originally from Mexico City, Blanca’s primary focus lies in efficient administration and serving as a bridge for patients to understand their treatment plans. She derives satisfaction from coordinating treatments and ensuring patients are well-informed. She advocates for proactive dental care. In her free time, she enjoys travelling, dining out, and catching the latest movies!

Originally from the UK, Raj has called Vancouver home since 1997, drawn by its breathtaking beauty. She is dedicated to delivering outstanding customer service. The best part of the job for her is the camaraderie shared with her colleagues. She also believes in the importance of maintaining one’s natural teeth for long-term dental health. Seeking a warm and efficient workspace with great coworkers, Raj found her fit in our practice. In her leisure time, she finds joy in staying active at the gym, experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen, and dancing!

Danielle is a Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) with a passion for patient care and dental health. Her training in dental assisting, radiology, and reception has prepared her well for her role, where she loves meeting new people and helping them regain confidence “one tooth at a time.” Guided by her healthcare philosophy, “You’re never fully dressed without a smile,” Danielle searched for a workplace that felt like a family and where she could grow and expand her skills.

Originally from Queens, New York City, Danielle stays connected to her community by volunteering at local homeless shelters. Outside of the office, she enjoys exploring new cuisines and dreams of one day being able to retire her parents as a way to give back for all they’ve done for her.

Jovana has been our Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) for over nine years. She completed her Sedation Certificate to ensure patients have a comfortable experience. She has established numerous close relationships with our patients through her commitment.

Growing up in Nicaragua, Marta sought to work with a team that values respect, empathy, and compassion, which led her to join our practice. Marta’s favorite aspect of the job lies in the continual learning of new skills and building connections with patients. Embracing a philosophy that emphasizes prevention, Marta believes that early intervention is key to maintaining optimal oral health. Outside of work, she enjoys leisurely walks, reading, cooking, and cherishing moments with her family. Her main focus lies in caring for her two granddaughters and grandson.
